EBO X is a guardian robot designed specifically for families, combined with V-SLAM visual navigation technology, self-stabilizing 4K HD Gimbal camera, Harman professional tuning system, EBO X can provide your home with:
1)safety and health monitoring (such as elderly fall monitoring, cry for help monitoring, stranger detected, reminders to take medication, etc.),
2)remote companionship (two-way real-time communication, smart tracking, smart personal assistant, etc.),
3)leisure and entertainment features (bluetooth music, Alexa contents, rich lights effects, etc.)
The EBO X is not water resistant.
EBO X has a dToF sensor on its body, which makes it have the ability of intelligent obstacle avoidance. In the process of autonomous movement, EBO X will automatically slow down to avoid collision with obstacles.
EBO X uses an ultra-quiet brushless motor, which makes it very quiet during operation, hardly produces strong noise and will not disturb the rest of the family. The specific running noise is 28dB, It refers to the average noise at four points of 0/90/180/270 at a distance of 1 meter with the robot as the center of the circle.
EBO X will maintain a distance of 1.5 - 2 meters from the subject during the automatic following process to ensure that the camera can capture a more complete portrait, while the obstacle avoidance feature will allow EBO X to protect itself from collisions during the action. When a family member or pet accidentally steps on or bumps into the EBO X, there is no need to worry, the EBO X has a self-balanced design that automatically adjust its position after a tumble.
EBO X has the ability of edge detection, the edge can be detected at a distance of 20cm from the edge and stop moving forward to prevent falling.
The time required for V-SLAM mapping is related to the area and complexity of the environment. After the actual test, it usually takes 20 minutes to complete the drawing of a 90-square-meter room. (The specific housing situation varies greatly, and this data is only for test reference.)
It is not possible to set up no-go zones before the whole house build begins. If you have an area that you do not want EBO X to map, you can close the door to that room or use an object with a height of at least 10mm to block EBO X from entering. After the house mapping is ready, the restricted area can be set up. After setting, EBO X will not go to the restricted area during autonomous cruising.
The function of automatically following pets is planned. However, we will give priority to the automatic follow-up function of people, so when you receive the first batch of crowdfunding products, this function has not yet been launched. In the future, after this function is developed, you can upgrade this function through OTA online upgrade.
Elderly fall alert, child crying alert, call for help sound detection, specific area intrusion alert, face recognition, all of these features need the support of AI algorithms.
